AVTA & AMCTA: Annual Friendly Challenge

🔥 Big News for Our Tennis Community! 🎾

The Australian Vietnamese Tennis Association (AVTA) is teaming up with the Australia Melbourne Chinese Tennis Association (AMCTA - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575280156771) — a powerhouse with over 1,000 active members — to launch our inaugural annual invite-only friendly event!

• 📍 Location: Dingley Village Tennis Club (Clay)

• 🗓 Date & Time: Sunday, 31st August, 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM

• 💵 Registration Fee: $40 per person (includes lunch!)

Event Format:

• 8 Men’s Doubles Teams (4 from AVTATour vs 4 from AMCTA) (Combined UTR 16)

• 12 Men’s Doubles Teams (6 from AVTATour vs 6 from AMCTA) (Combined UTR 13.5)

• 8 Mixed Doubles Teams (4 from AVTATour vs 4 from AMCTA) (Combined UTR 11.5)

🏆 Prizes (per category):

• Winner: $300

• Runner-up: $100

(No trophies this time – just cash, pride, and bragging rights!)

👉 How to Register Interest:

Reply to the SMS sent to your mobile with your current Doubles UTR + accuracy and your preferred partner (must also be Vietnamese and have an official AVTA Tour point) BEFORE Thursday, 21st August.

Example: “6.44 – 80%, my partner is A, 7.22 – 90%”
